Change the salt intake from 13 1/2 pounds down to 10 also put in a regeneration cycle so we can backwash all the dirty water that’s already in the softener itself and see if it can fix the saltiness. He is currently using.
Installation of a 48k grain water softener with a brine tank and a Clack programmable, regenerative head. Clack products are warrantied for five years, our labor is warrantied for 90 days. Installation of a 30 micron sediment filter. Install a Clack iron breaker with 1.5 cubic feet of Katalox and a WS1 Air Injection filter valve for oxidation, by-pass valves. Katalox has a 6 to 7 year duty cycle is is relatively maintenance free. It is a backwashing system and removes low levels or arsenic, clarifies water, filters to 3 microns and addresses other metal inclusions in well water. Its primary purpose is iron removal and it is very effective.
